The Koncovka, the popular folk instrument of Slovakia, is made from elderberry wood. It is played by overblowing and produces 8 different tones in an overtone scale. Covering the lower end of the flute produces another distinct sound.

Our Koncovka is hand-crafted in the Czech Republic from elderwood by a Slovakian artisan in the highest craftsmanship perfection and in Slovakian tradition. Each instrument is unique in its form and some are even lovingly engraved. The surface of the flute is, following the old tradition, sealed with linseed oil.
